Week 9

Not so much progress. I have done really terrible this month. I have only lost 6 pounds total and that sucks. I lost 24pounds in the first 4 weeks and now only 6. I better start taking this more seriously. Here are my stats:

I lost 2 inches but only 1/2 a pound. With the holidays approaching, I better start being serious.

Week 8

Weigh in was good! I lost3.5 pounds and that makes me happy! I Did pretty good for the week except by having a piece of cake on Sunday and a very small slice of Pizza on Monday. My weakness is food. I have been working out on the Wii Fit 3 or 4 days a week. I think it is helping in my inches. Here are my measurements:

I have lost 28 pounds so far in 8 weeks! I can hardly believe that happened. I also got to buy a new pair of jeans on Saturday and they were 2 sizes smaller. I was wearing a size 20 now, I am in a 16. It feels great!

Week 7

My weigh-in this week was okay. I had lost 2 pounds but no inches. I felt okay about it but Dash asked what was going on. He asked me to tell him what I have been eating. I guess I haven't been eating as much as I should. I am starving my body and it is storing instead of losing. I will now start doing better to drink my 3 shakes everyday. I don't have a problem eating the real food. That is what tastes so good! HOpefully next week will be better. I am also starting to work out a little bit. I am using Wii Fit as my coach. Lets hope!

November 2nd

Weigh in today was what I expected. I had missed my weigh-in last week due to some fall backs in the diet and then I just was off track the rest of the week. I had Caymans b-day that I ate at Mcdonalds, cake and Icecream and then we had a Ute game and had pizza. Halloween and candy. I just couldn't fully commit. Today after numbers, I am fully committed again! I need to see my weight drop drastically. I want to be healthy and skinny. I will do better this week. Here are my numbers

Overall I lost inches that is making me happy, and I feel great! I only lost 1/2 a pound in that week and a half so I have a lot of making up to do! I am hoping for a stellar week this week! Go me!!

Down 3 more!


It has been a busy week and I was not very faithful on this plan. I cheated with a bite here and a bite there of not diet food. My weigh in was better than I thought but nothing like last week. Here is the breakdown.

I think my inches all stayed the same but I lost 3.5 pounds. I am still okay with that. At least I am still losing. Yay!
This is a before and after picture. The first one not so flattering and taken Sept 4th. The second one was taken October 16th. Much better. Right?

Week 4!!

I have some great news this week. I lost 11 pounds and some ounces. I could not believe it! Weigh in was Awesome! Dash is my weigh in Doc that I see every week and he was in awe! He said that is the most he has seen anyone lose in one week! I felt so good!! Here are my stats!

At the end of 4wks I am down 9.25 Inches all over, and 18.8 pounds! Wow!
I have to say that this is not easy. I was tempted a lot this week and even had about 1/4 cup of butter pasta. I also had 2 bites of Caymans Chocolate donut. I felt guilty after wards but it satisfied my urge. I am doing the best I can every week and if it keeps going like this I won't have much longer to go! Here's to another great week ahead!

Week 3 Not so hot!

I went up in all categories. I went to San Francisco for 5 days and thought I did really good. I was good the first 3 days, then I caved and ate on the last 2. I really thought it was no biggie with all the walking I did. Probably like 20 miles. But, no.. I get to the docs and this is what happened. I was quite frustrated but ready to get back on track. I weigh in tomorrow and we will see what I have done in a week. I better be down, or so help me......

Week 2

Time for another update. I cheated a little bit this last week. I had a half a cupcake on Saturday and 4 potato chips. I was also on my period which made me very hungry. I was sure that I hadn't lost any weight. I even went to the Utah game with my husband and while he ate at the game, I only had my water. The smell of the corn dogs were killing me! I really wanted one of those. I also went to my sisters house on Sunday and couldn't eat the potatoes, gravy or rolls. I was just salivating. I am still doing the 3 shakes a day. I choose to drink the chocolate every time. I am not adventurous and I like the taste of it. I have been eating celery when I get an urge for a snack, and then a vegetable at dinner. My weigh in today was pretty good.

I am officially down 10 pounds. What a great thing for me. In 2 weeks down 10!! Yippee!! I am so happy. I can already tell my pants are feeling loose. My trial is going to be in this next week when I go to San Fransisco and I'm around all the fast food. My goal is to just maintain what I am at and then get back on track next Tuesday. Hopefully I won't have gained anything. Cross our fingers and check back next week!

Struggling!

I am having a hard time with this Ideal diet. There is nothing Ideal about it. I am hungry, tired and moody. I am not really craving sweets, but the bread and pizza, burgers, and tacos. That is what I want. I had a set back on Saturday night. I ate a small slice of pizza. Not the crust. I felt sick. My stomach hurt. I won't cheat again. But it tasted so good! I am having a hard time eating the 4 cups of veggies a day. I usually don't. I drink lots of water. more than 90 ounces a day. I go to the doctor tomorrow. We will see what to do. I hope I have lost some weight.

New diet!

Ideal Protein Diet under the help of my doctor Brian Rodgers. Cory and I went to a meeting to get the goods and afterwards decided I should do it. At my consultation, we figured I need to lose around 75 pounds. Makes sense, I have gained 30 with each pregnancy and that is why I am fat. The first day was not so bad. That night I got a really bad headache and very nauseated. The next morning, diarrhea, headache, nausea, lightheaded. I have felt pretty gross all day long. I am starting day 3 tomorrow and hope I feel better. I am on 3 shakes a day and then one dinner of 5oz of meat and 2 cups of veggies. You can have 2 cups of veggies with your lunch also. You should be drinking about 96 ounces of water a day. You can have no extra fat, carbs or sugars. This is phase 1. I will be on this until I have lost 90 % of my weight loss. I hope it goes fast!!
