Week 2

Time for another update. I cheated a little bit this last week. I had a half a cupcake on Saturday and 4 potato chips. I was also on my period which made me very hungry. I was sure that I hadn't lost any weight. I even went to the Utah game with my husband and while he ate at the game, I only had my water. The smell of the corn dogs were killing me! I really wanted one of those. I also went to my sisters house on Sunday and couldn't eat the potatoes, gravy or rolls. I was just salivating. I am still doing the 3 shakes a day. I choose to drink the chocolate every time. I am not adventurous and I like the taste of it. I have been eating celery when I get an urge for a snack, and then a vegetable at dinner. My weigh in today was pretty good.

I am officially down 10 pounds. What a great thing for me. In 2 weeks down 10!! Yippee!! I am so happy. I can already tell my pants are feeling loose. My trial is going to be in this next week when I go to San Fransisco and I'm around all the fast food. My goal is to just maintain what I am at and then get back on track next Tuesday. Hopefully I won't have gained anything. Cross our fingers and check back next week!

It works!

I had my weigh in today and was I surprised!! I had lost almost 8 pounds! Wow! Here are my stats last week compared to this week.

Struggling!

I am having a hard time with this Ideal diet. There is nothing Ideal about it. I am hungry, tired and moody. I am not really craving sweets, but the bread and pizza, burgers, and tacos. That is what I want. I had a set back on Saturday night. I ate a small slice of pizza. Not the crust. I felt sick. My stomach hurt. I won't cheat again. But it tasted so good! I am having a hard time eating the 4 cups of veggies a day. I usually don't. I drink lots of water. more than 90 ounces a day. I go to the doctor tomorrow. We will see what to do. I hope I have lost some weight.

New diet!

Ideal Protein Diet under the help of my doctor Brian Rodgers. Cory and I went to a meeting to get the goods and afterwards decided I should do it. At my consultation, we figured I need to lose around 75 pounds. Makes sense, I have gained 30 with each pregnancy and that is why I am fat. The first day was not so bad. That night I got a really bad headache and very nauseated. The next morning, diarrhea, headache, nausea, lightheaded. I have felt pretty gross all day long. I am starting day 3 tomorrow and hope I feel better. I am on 3 shakes a day and then one dinner of 5oz of meat and 2 cups of veggies. You can have 2 cups of veggies with your lunch also. You should be drinking about 96 ounces of water a day. You can have no extra fat, carbs or sugars. This is phase 1. I will be on this until I have lost 90 % of my weight loss. I hope it goes fast!!
